Description
This moderate loop walk is perfect for an off-lead hike through a nice varied bushland. The trail is well marked (but not signed). If following the route anti-clockwise, the first northbound section is through drier shrubland. When you make the turn southward you walk down into the valley amongst taller trees, a wetter more temperate forest floor and if in springtime – blooming wattle flowers.
The highlight is the 3/4 mark, at the rockpool and stepped waterfall (usually only lightly flowing). From there you walk up the valley again on rock steps for a nice view over the valley at the top.
Watch out for dirt bikes and occationally 4WDers on weekends. Luckily you can hear them a mile off. Most of the time you will have the bush to yourself. Enjoy!
