Description

This loop walk is a longer variation of the other Loftus walk on the site. It follows the fire trails and the creek track and the half way point is at Woronora River. Leash on as you leave the fire trail and head down to Prince Edward Park. If your dog loves to swim, this is a great spot to have lunch and for your mate to have a dip.

The trail back starts just past the Anzac monument, where the trail follows the creek for a few kilometres. This section is a highlight, where you can walk on the sandy riverbed and river bank sections. After that it’s mostly fire trails. You’ll pass by Camp Wanawong, then it’s mostly undulating until the trail ends back in Engadine. You’ll need a lead again for the last couple of kms.
