Description
Red Hill is a unique place to take your pup for a hike. The rocks are great for scrambling and the views from some of the higher points of the coast and city can be stunning on a nice day.
This loop is only indicative of the main entry point and general direction you want to take when in the reserve. Once inside there are many options for link up diversions and exploring. The trail can get and stay muddy, so boots are a good idea all year round. There is also not much shade, so if you’re going in summer, be careful to bring water for your doggo and sun protection for yourself. Off lead most if not all of the trail. Only reason Pippa is shown with a lead in the photo below is because I didn’t trust her to not jump off that boulder (it was a bigger drop than it looks!).
