Description

Not really a hike, but a great secret swimming spot in the otherwise dog unfriendly Eastern Beaches.

One for when the swell is calm and the sun is out. It’s a short wander over the rocks and undercliff (careful of the high unfenced drop to your right just as you get to the bottom of the steps – keep your doggy leashed until you past this point). The rockpool is located on a flat section of rock.

On a nice day there are usually a couple of dogs running about. It’s a nice spot for humans to have a dip as well (in the rockpool). The bay itself is only one for experienced swimmers or divers, as it has some unpredictable currents.
